I am so extremely disappointed in Portrait Innovations. We have used them with all of our kids.

We ALWAYS get the packaged special and pick different poses for each picture and get the disk with every single photo (edited and unedited). This time it was 1 pose for all photos and on the disk. In order to get a disk with everything, we were suppose to get a 15 pose package for 450.00. That is ridiculous.

Our photographer was so busy inspecting her camera, she missed tons of good shots.

Instead, we get pictures where my son's mouth is hanging open. The pictures we did get are uncentered, have the wrong lighting, has my son fading away because of background lighting issues, feature his toys, and so on. This was for my son's 2nd birthday and we used a fireman theme. The photographer offered NO direction on poses (other than a profile picture) and NO offer of props were made.

I found an antique looking fire truck in the room and when he posed on that... she did not include the actual truck! I paid $200.00 because I felt obligated to have something from my son's birthday shoot. I am hoping for either a full refund (while keeping the pictures I have) or another shoot, with MY PICKS for all photos, a disk with ALL pictures taken, and a new canvas print at no cost to me.

There is no reason to have deals and procedures that make Portrait Innovations unique and fun and then refuse those services. Nor, is there any reason to have a photographer as unprofessional as we had. A further point was the "more experienced photographer" that was with another family, walked around and took pictures while hanging on to her large coffee drink and slurping it up through her straw. Were they nice?


Unprofessional? Absolutely.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Back drop was poor- costumer service poor, Photo quality.
