The location in Hoover, Al suck they are lazy and wasting the owner of that location time and money. They rather turn your business away and waste film than to do a great job while working. I had the worst experience there and I will never go back or refer anyone. Every picture was so plain or way close they looked cheap I could did better myself. They were blah not quality at all. I would rather make prints off my camera. Not impressed even a lil. No creativity. Add comment

Check out reviews on Google+, Yelp, and Glassdoor, you'll notice a trend of unsatisfied customers. The next time I need photos, I will find a local professional instead of supporting another chain. I will not be going back. Its a Friday and there is no one in the studio and i was 10 minutes late for my appointment as im parking my and getting my kids out of the car the manager calls and cancels my appointment. I sat outside the studio for 15 min and both of them were just sitting there doing nothing. Our appointment was at 5:30. We were running behind, but when your 4 month old has to eat, he has to eat! We got there at 5:46 and was told that since we were more than 15 minutes late, they had to cancel. We are frequent customers here and I can't tell you the number of times we have waited 30 minutes or more on them. We will never go back to portrait innovations! Add comment

I took my grandaughters to have spring photos made. Our photographer was very rude, and rushed them through the session. She said they were very busy and didn't have time to be creative. Feeling over whelmed and pissed unlike goin to jcpennys you have a choice to purchase a package and then buy a few 5/7 and wallets for 4.99 a sheet your not given that choice which makes you purchase pictures you will never ever use Add comment

Working for this company is even worse than being a customer. If you book an appointment and when can not confirm it we are told to delete the appt from the computer, that is why your appointments are not showing up. They book every 10 mins sometimes double book, we are told to only spend ten minutes total in camera room with each appointment. They demand associates to maintain a $125.00 sales... Read more

I took my baby in for his 6 month pictures yesterday. I was so excited to celebrate this time with him and They completely ruined our experience! The lady was extremely rude and impatient!
